At the Industrial Fabrics show (IFAI) last year, a customer approached us to help them solve a problem they were having on covers for recreational vehicles. The material they were using was not performing to their needs, and the sunlight reflecting off metal was burning holes in the fabric. We were able to create a solution with a 2-sided fabric: a back that reflects light, and a face that is aesthetically pleasing while holding up to the tensile, tear strength, and cold cracking specifications necessary for the cover’s environmental exposure.
