Our annual food and baby/adult care drive was another great success.
We are so pleased that this event has grown to the point that we need five Brookwood NY helpers to walk over and deliver our donations.
Crossroads Community Services’ mission is “to unite our community in the fight to end hunger and homelessness”; from their location they distribute pantry items on ‘Pantry Thursdays’ and daily breakfast and dinner meals.
They served 443,424 meals to 142,172 people in the year 2023 and that number has increased in the last year.
All donations have a significant impact for those in need.A special thanks to our fellow Brookwooders at BW Finishing in Rhode Island who always generously donate for New Yorkers in need; the true spirit of our Brookwood community.
