Job description:

We are looking for a Production Planner/Scheduler to join our textile finishing operation. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling production activities to meet customer demands, optimize workflow, and ensure timely delivery. You will work closely with operations, supply chain, and our sales and marketing teams to keep production on track and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules for all departments at the finishing plant
• Coordinate material availability, work orders, and production priorities
• Monitor plant capacity and adjust schedules to avoid downtime and delays
• Communicate schedule changes and delivery updates across departments
• Support on-time shipments and meet customer delivery dates
• Analyze scheduling data and production metrics for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with supervisors to resolve schedule conflicts and meet production goals
• Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of production planning or scheduling experience in manufacturing (textile industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of BOMs, workflows, and ERP/MRP systems
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze data and adjust plans as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
• APICS certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
