The Quality Manager is responsible for all facets of quality control, including pre-inspect, final inspection/rolling, and non-conformance materials; all Greige Room including receiving of greige goods and determining and managing greige quality issues involving external communication to greige mills and customers. Manages the inspection and testing of materials to ensure adherence to established quality standards. Also responsible for maintaining our ISO9001 and IS17025 certificates.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Root Cause Analysis Tools / Lean Manufacturing / Statistical Process Control
- Understands ISO quality systems (including AS9100 and IATF 16949)
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s in engineering required (or relevant field)
- 5+ years of relevant work experience preferably in Textile Manufacturing
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
